**AthleteHero is a Web3 fitness platform and NFT collection with GameFi elements that reward and inspire you to get fit.**

**AthleteHero** is the first project on the Ethereum blockchain to provide a functional move-to-earn concept. Additionally, **AthleteHero** is the first (of any blockchain) to provide crypto rewards and NFTs for finishing running and endurance races.

Users join by purchasing an NFT, which grants them access to the fitness platform. Users can track running, walking, and other various activities to earn game currency inside the fitness platform. That currency can then be used inside the in-game marketplace or cached out for profit.

### Purpose

**AthleteHero's** purpose is to inspire people to get and stay fit and train athletes to dominate their sport.

### Problem

Nearly 80% of U.S. adults do NOT meet basic physical activity guidelines.

### Solution

Inspire people to start and maintain physical activity through both rewards in the form of crypto and an encouraging community of like-minded people.

**AthleteHero's** goal is to change the national (and global) static for those who meet basic physical activity guidelines and develop athletes who dominate their sport.
